Peace

We, as a society, are all searching to find, or achieve, peace in our lives.  Just google the word Peace and you get about 1,840,000,000 results.  It's no accident that our society is in search of peace. Peace in war.  Peace in pandemics and pandemonium.  Peace with our loved ones.  Peace at home. Peace at school.  Peace at work.  Peace with yourself.  You get the picture.

Here at Peace Lutheran, our peace comes from believing in Jesus Christ as the only Savior of the world.  What does peace mean to you? We want you to experience the peace that Jesus gives.

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.

Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."

John 14:27

By Grace Alone

Grace is what we don't deserve that we receive freely from God through Jesus' taking our death and sin upon Himself. It is forgiveness. It is not because of who we are or what we've done - but what God has done for us because we couldn't do any of it for ourselves.

Through Faith Alone

We are saved only through faith in Christ, so that all who believe in Christ will have eternal life. Faith helps us keep our eyes on Jesus and be grounded in Him, even when many other things in life are not easy to understand.

Word Alone

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, giving assurance of salvation and fruitful direction for living. The Bible is HIS Story - of creation, corruption, and how much God loves you. Jesus would rather suffer hell on the cross for us all rather than live in heaven forever without us. Out of joy for what God has done, we will respond with good works that please Him and help our neighbor experience God's unconditional and everlasting love.
