UAMS NICU Food Pantry Drive

June 2026 Mission Focus

During the month of June, Peace Conway is partnering to help support families staying with their babies in the NICU at UAMS by collecting easy-to-grab meals and snacks for the NICU Food Pantry.  Many NICU parents spend long days and nights at the hospital caring for their babies. These food pantry items help provide quick meals and comfort during difficult times.  For more information, click HERE.


Missions and Outreach

We at Peace want to bring the love of Christ to those in our community by serving in any way we are called, to respond to the command of our Lord Jesus set forth in Acts 1:8…”you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem [Conway], and in Judea [Faulkner County/Arkansas], and Samaria [other local cultures and language groups] and to the ends of the earth.”


We support LCMS endorsed international missions as well as various local ministries by offering support and service. See below for some of our 2025 ministries and serving opportunities! 

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations.” Matthew 28:19

Operation Christmas Child is a ministry through Samaritan's Purse where boxes are filled with basic essentials for children all over the world. Most importantly, they learn about the love of Christ. Our church collects items throughout the year, then hosts a packing party for anyone who wants to pack boxes and deliver them to the drop location. Anyone can purchase items in bulk for these boxes.  National Collection dates are usually in November each year.  This year's packing party will be November 12 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at church.  See Mary Tumlison for details.

Local Ministry Opportunities

We proudly support a variety of local ministries in and around Conway, Arkansas! Here are some of our opportunities!

  • Thanksgiving Blessing Bags

    Each year Peace partners with local charities to hand out Thanksgiving Blessing Bags that contain everything a family needs to have a nice Thanksgiving dinner. Members of Peace are asked to take an empty grocery bag and tote with a list containing all items needing to be purchased to put in the bag so that Conway families can have a complete Thanksgiving. This year the deadline to bring back a filled Blessing Bag is November 16 and they will be distributed during a safe drive through event on Saturday, November 22, from 9AM to 11AM.

  • haven house

    HAVEN HOUSE is a Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP) for adolescent females in foster care between the ages of 12-18 who have experienced trauma. Haven accepts children into their program from every county in Arkansas in which are all referred by the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). Haven is a 501c3 organization supervised by Counseling Associates with services provided by Arisa Health.


    Because Haven benefitted from the 2025 Toad Suck 5K, volunteers from PeaceConway were there to help hand out water and cheer those who were running or walking. 

  • Bethlehem House Valentine's Day Gala

    Bethlehem House fills the gap for individuals and families experiencing homelessness by providing temporary housing while residents are motivated, encouraged, and empowered to become independent, productive, and self-sufficient.  


    PeaceConway provided volunteers for their annual event.

  • Camp Trinity Work Day

    The purpose of Camp Trinity, located on Petit Jean mountain, is also the mission of the church: to make disciples.  Campers hear the message of salvation through Jesus Christ and learn what it means to grow in Christ.  The beautiful outdoors provides an ideal setting for teaching campers about their Creator and Redeemer, who comes to them through His Word in Bible studies and campfire talks.  Our members regularly answer the call when the camp needs extra hands in order to be ready for campers each season.

Rise House Mission

Rise House provides a promise of hope and a haven of safety for adults and children seeking relief from domestic violence and sexual abuse. Their mission is to offer not only a place of refuge but also comprehensive programs and resources that empower survivors to rebuild their lives and create a violence free future.

PeaceConway is continuing to collect the following items for Rise: twin sheets, toilet paper, bath toiletries, cleaning supplies.
