Worship at Peace

When asked about worshiping only in a certain place, Jesus told a Samaritan woman, "But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth." (John 4:23-24 ESV)
Peace Conway's worship is centered around our personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe that the church is the family of God's forgiven people. We all fit together because we are the body of Christ and belong to Jesus. In Him, we love, care for and serve one another.

Gatherings for Worship

Our Sunday morning service is a traditional blended-style worship using the Lutheran Service Book for the orders of worship and hymns. Sunday morning Worship Services begin at 9:00 a.m. Holy Communion is offered every week in this service. Dress code for Peace Lutheran is relaxed or formal, whichever is comfortable for you and your family.
We would also love to have you grow in your understanding of God's Word by attending one of our Bible/Sunday School classes beginning at 10:30 a.m. Sunday mornings. We offer various topics over books of the Bible to connecting with daily life and witness in this world as followers of Jesus.
We encourage you to grab a cup of coffee and something sweet or healthy during our Fellowship Coffee Cup right after Worship and before Sunday school. Hope to see you there!

Discipleship
We are a smallish church with big hearts! Here at Peace, relationships are the center of all that we do. We believe in reaching out and making a difference not only within our Peace family but our community as well. We have assisted in disaster relief efforts, partnered with local groups and ministries to make a difference right here in Conway and all over the world.

During Lent, we add additional worship services to focus on our need to be saved from our own sinful nature. We also look at Jesus' preparation in making that ultimate sacrifice for our sin. We use this opportunity to reflect upon what it means to live as a child of God including the salvation we look forward to celebrating at Easter.

Blessing of the Animals

This Service will be outside on the lawn here at Peace.
Bring all your animals, turtles, fish, horses, goats, chickens, pigs, dogs, cats, gerbils, lizards, bunnies, lamas, cows etc. We will have bowls of water. Please take note that this will be by the Dave Ward side of the road and traffic and noise may be a concern for your animal.
