Whether we gather together inside walls, outdoors, or connected electronically, it is still the Holy Spirit "calling, gathering, and enlightening" Jesus' Church. When asked about worshiping only in a certain place, Jesus told a Samaritan woman, "But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth." (John 4:23-24 ESV)
Peace Lutheran's worship is centered around our personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe that the church is the family of God's forgiven people. We all fit together because we are the body of Christ and belong to Jesus. In Him, we love, care for and serve one another.
If you are searching for a church home that's passionately in love with Jesus - a place where you can find hope, healing, and connect with God's purpose for your life, then there's a place waiting for you in Jesus' family here at Peace!
At Peace, we know the importance of worshipping with your children. We encourage our families with young children to be included in our worship. We engage the young ones with a children's sermon every Sunday at each service. We also offer a nursery for those children needing a break from the service.
For your elementary age children, we have a Sunday School class every Sunday that teaches a variety of Bible lessons, Scriptures, and stories that puts their faith into action.
Our Lutheran Youth Fellowship (LYF) teens are a close knit group that are very active! They love to engage in a variety of topics that relate to their interests and problems. They have servant projects every Spring and Fall.
Seeking to connect with other young adult Christians? Then this is the group for you! Join us as we fellowship and study God's Word as it is relevant to the world we live in. We meet during the fall and spring semesters. Snacks and coffee provided.
"Praise the LORD. Sing to the LORD a new song, His praise in the assembly of the saints." Psalm 149:1
Our Sunday morning service is a traditional-style worship using the Lutheran Service Book for the orders of worship and hymns. It begins at 9:00 a.m. Holy Communion is offered every week in this service. Dress code for Peace Lutheran is relaxed or formal, whichever is comfortable for you and your family.
Our Contemporary worship has a more relaxed atmosphere with our Praise team leading the singing of tried and true songs, psalms, hymns with remixed tunes and tempos, and modern day spiritual songs.
We would also love to have you grow in your understanding of God's Word by attending one of our Bible/Sunday School classes from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Sunday mornings. We offer various topics over books of the Bible to connecting with daily life and witness in this world as followers of Jesus.
We encourage you to grab a cup of coffee and something sweet or healthy during our Fellowship Coffee Break from 10:00-10:30am. Hope to see you there!
F.A.I.T.H. (Fellowship And Instruction Through Him) Night is a night of fellowship and connecting with God's Word for all ages. We usually begin this night with fellowship and a light dinner before everyone breaks out into their groups. The children engage in activities and games that make learning God's Word a blast! As for the teens, they enjoy reclining in the youth room while engaging in lively discussions on anything from relationships, social media and the biblical connection to all that they do.
Every two years, a new family confirmation class begins for children in grades 5-6 and their parents. They meet once a week in the evenings for a one-and-a-half hour instruction during the Fall and Spring.
If you feel led to give during one of our worship services, you may do so by making a one time or recurring donation through CloverGive. It is safe, simple and quick! We thank you for your gift towards our ministries and serving our community.
We are a smallish church with big hearts! Here at Peace, relationships are the center of all that we do. We believe in reaching out and making a difference not only within our Peace family but our community as well. We have assisted in disaster relief efforts, partnered with local groups and ministries to make a difference right here in Conway and all over the world.
